Years ago I sat under a desk and prayed to God, letting Him know I was ok. What I didn’t realize at that time is that He would use a desk for me to write out the stories that He placed in my life. And since that day He has used me in abundantly more ways than I could have ever imagined.
My life is like a set of pages, chapters, books that aren’t complete but keep opening to new stories, yet flowing from one story that God has prepared for me.
The first chapter and current chapter being on a farm. I grew up on a farm; I’ve had some of my greatest joys on this farm and I’ve suffered my greatest losses on this farm. Yet, God in all His sovereignty has called me back to the farm and allows me to see and be a part of His Work on it each and every day.
I constantly say, “if you aren’t learning, you aren’t growing, and then you must be dying,” so I choose to live a life that is always Growing. I’m never complete, never perfect, but always giving my best to learn each day something new.
