Day 358 – On Christmas Eve we remember to celebrate the Truth.
“And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told to them.” Luke.2.20
The shepherds, normal hardworking people like you and me, got to witness a miracle, the greatest miracle ever, our Savior being born. they didn’t turn from this miracle and forget what they just saw, they turned and declared to all the truth of which they witnessed.
Everyday, but today especially, we have the opportunity to declare to others: our family, friends, and neighbors, the truth of Christmas. And what is the truth?
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16.
We are fallen, we are sinful because of the Fall, but God sent His Son to be born as a baby in a lowly manger to be fully God and fully man, so that we can be saved. He desires all His creation to know Him, love Him, and be Saved by Him. But it takes those of us who Believe to share the Good News of Truth of which we Know.
Today, when you gather or when you go out, celebrate the truth in love of the miracle of Christmas.
