Day 147 – 365 Days through the Word

Day 147 – In Christ Alone.

Today’s Reading: Psalm 44 – 46

“For not in my bow do I trust, nor can my sword save me. But you have saved us from our foes and have put to shame those who hate us. In God we have boasted continually, and we will give thanks to your name forever.” Psalms 44:6-8.

Most of my life I’ve tried to take all of my problems along with everyone else’s into my own hands. It was exhausting!

I thought of myself as so much bigger and stronger than I actually was. But when I laid my life down and gave God the reigns, I no longer had to try because with God all things were possible. (Make sure to note, all was possible when I gave Him the reigns.)

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

I no longer had to depend on my own strength, or try and figure out how I was going to fix a problem. Now I knew I could put my trust completely in Him and He would provide for all my needs, even the small ones.

What are you going through right now? Have you gotten to the point where you’ve tried everything that you knew to try, but now you’re to tired to try anymore?

Just this morning I prayed, “Lord, I don’t know what to do, I need you to take this for me.”

Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength,an ever-present help in trouble.”

Your problem may not be fixed in a minute, just wait, be still, God will always be Glorified, In Christ Alone!

Psalm 46:10 “He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;I will be exalted among the nations,I will be exalted in the earth.”
