Day 45 – 365 Days through the Word

Day 45 – I ❤️ you! Love, GOD.

Happy Valentine’s Day – Today’s Reading: Deuteronomy 6 – 10

Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,”

God loves us more than we could ever love him. When we feel alone and unloved we need to remind ourselves of this steadfast love. In return, we should love Him with all of our heart and soul and mind. That may sound difficult because of the love that we have for our friends and family already, but when we love God, He makes our heart grow bigger and bigger to love those around us more.

Moses tries to explain to the Israelites the love of God, a deep love that saved them from the bondage of the Egyptians and provided for them all their needs in the wilderness. He desires that they never forget this love, so that they never turn from Him and forget what He’s done.

Without Love we have nothing, and God is love. When people feel empty it is because they are missing God, not someone or something, BUT Him alone. He has written us the sweetest Love letter and hopes that we read it everyday, keeping it always before us. It comes across in many words, but translates to few: I ❤️ You, Please Love me, too! Never forget this love, lean on this love always, it is yours. Claim it and Exclaim it. I Love you, too, God!
