On the 10th Day of Christmas –
Jesus was born into the World.
Luke 2:1-2 “At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.”
At the time of Jesus’ birth the world was still turning and the government still working. People had to follow the rules and function within an imperfect world. There’s no difference today! We as Christians can’t expect the world around us to be perfect, instead we must live in the world, perfectly in Christ’s will. We must love, we must be humble, we must bring His good news wherever we go. We may not be part of the world as Christians, but it is still turning around us. Don’t let the world get you down, instead bring Joy to the world as Christ did also.
John 17:13, 16-18 “Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world.”
