He’s not done Yet, Hold on to Hope.

“In that day Israel will be third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.”

Isaiah 19:23-25

In that day, a day yet to come, ALL will gather in peace to worship God.

The book of Isaiah, one of my favorites, holds prophecies fulfilled and prophecies of things yet to come. So, essentially, the book of Isaiah is filled with HOPE.

In the passage above, Isaiah describes the work to be done in Egypt and how “one day” they will turn to the Lord their Savior and worship him. Not only them, but there will be a road from Egypt to Assyria (modern day Iraq) where both nations will come and go to worship together the Lord our God. This prophecy is nestled between the first and second coming of Christ, so in the days we are currently in. Meaning, we may be able to witness this ourselves….what HOPE we have of peace!!!

This may seem so distant to you, far out of sight, but think of it this way… There is Hope. Not just hope afar of what is to come, but hope right where you are. God is still at work all around you. That thing you’re in, the thing you’re struggling with, that relationship you need healed, whatever it may be, Have Hope. God’s not done yet! He is working all things out for the good of those that are called according to his purpose. If you are breathing, you were created in his image. And if you believe in Him, Jesus, as Your Lord and Savior, you have been CALLED, you can Have Hope! Hold it Near. He’s NOT done yet.
