“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139:13-16

Dear God,
Your thoughts are not my thoughts, your ways not my ways. But I know so very well, that you’ve written out each of my days.
- Each day a memory, Each year a written book
- The way you waited for me to sing, the mischievousness in your every look

- Your birth was a modern day miracle, your life short but well lived
- Every second written by the hand of God, every moment but a gift.

- You fished, you flirted, you laughed so well
- You put each person in a deep loving spell.

- You climbed up on laps and did laps around the farm
- Captain America was your alter ego and only way a cast could go on your arm

- Ridge was your best friend, but many others received your love
- Angel kisses and duck faces, were extra special gifts from above

- Frozen hot dogs, donuts, and cinnamon rolls were your favorite foods
- Jake the Neverland Pirate, Buzz Lightyear, and Mickey Mouse were your favorite dudes.

- You made us laugh, you were the baby
- You brought a whole bunch of life to our crazy

- You gave us Hope without evening knowing
- Your light in us will be forever showing

- I can’t forget, I won’t forget. None of us every will.
- My Hayden Boy, my little man. Even with God, we miss you still.

- Today you’d be Eleven, a huge number it seems
- I can’t wait until I hold you again, but until then you will always be in my dreams.

Lord, please tell Hayden, Happy Birthday from us. All of us, all our family, friends, and those whose lives have been touched. You have a plan for each of us, you number our every day, and Hayden may have only had few on this earth, but what a work you did in each one of them.
Your daughter….A longing Mom
